Chocolate Christmas wreath - Guirlanda de chocolate

Its Christmas time!! :)

I learned how to make this lovely chocolate wreath with my beloved friend Gina today! She did a workshop today nad invited to join it! its simple and yummy! You can make to decorate your home, wokring place and of course share all the delicious chocolates! :)

Aprendi a fazer esta bela guirlanda de chocolate com a minha amiga Gina! Ela ministrou um workshop hoje e me convidou para participar!  é simples e deliciosa! você pode fazer para decorar a sua casa ou local de trabalho e claro compartilhar os deliciosos chocolates! :)

You will need:

3 sheets of newspaper 
1 celophane tape
1 ribbon (around 1 meter)
1 box of chocolate 
Scissors
Small Christmas decoration
Tin foil

Você vai precisar:
3 folhas de jornal
Fita adesiva transparente
Fita para o laço (1 metro mais ou menos)
1 caixa de chocolate de sua preferência
Tesoura
1 enfeite pequeno de natal
Papel alumínio

Step 1

Roll the 3 sheets of newspaper as in the photo. Fasten the end with tape and you will get a big newspaper straw.
Enrole as 3 folhas de jornal como na foto. Prenda o final com a fita adesiva, assim você terá um grande canudo de jornal.

Step 2

The hardest and most important step!
A mais difícil e mais importante passo!

You have to twist the paper straw! taking care to not break it! If it breaks... you will need to make another paper straw!

Você deve torcer o canudo de jornal, tomando cuidado para não quebrar.. caso quebre você terá que fazer outro canudo de papel!

So the base of your wreath is ready!  (no need to cover the whole paper with tape! use tape just to connect the ends of the paper straw!)
Então a base da sua guirlanda está pronta!!  (não precisa envolver todo o papel com a fita adesiva! use fita apenas para unir o canudo de papel!)

Step 3.

You will need 4 pices of 4cm x 30cm of tin foil, to cover the base of your wreath.
Você vai precisar de 4 pedaços de 4cm x 30cm de papel alumínio, para cobrir a base da sua guirlanda.

Step 4

The funniest step!!
You will attach the chocolates with tape! :) I am using a Brazilian Nestle chocolate box, if you cant find it you can just buy small chocolates on your choice! the box has around 400 grams of chocolate! For a best result I recommend you to separate all the chocolates by colors (wraping paper colors).

Você prenderá os chocolates com a fita adesiva. Usei uma caixa de bombons da Nestlé de 400 gramas, mas você usar a caixa de sua preferência! :) Para um melhor resultado eu recomendo que você separe os chocolates pelas cores das embalagens.

Step 5.

Put the chocolates around the wreath base to have a better idea of how its gonna be in the end.
Coloque os chocolates ao redor da base de sua guirlanda para ter uma ideia melhor de como irá ficar no final.

Step 6

You can attach the chocolates with the celophane tape. Its important to use enough tape to attach it. Chocolates are heavier than you imagine!
Reminds to keep some space on the top of your wreath for the ribbon!

Você pode começar a fixar os chocolates com a fita adesiva. É importante usar fita o suficiente para fixá-los. Chocolates são mais pesados do que você imagina!
Lembre-se de deixar um espaço na parte superior da sua guirlanda para o laço!

 
It may look a bit unbalance at this point, but it will look better in the end! Do not give up! :)
Pode parecer um pouco estranho nesse estágio, mas ficará melhor no final! Não desista! :)

Step 7

Attach, attach and attach! til you finish all the chocolates!
Grude, grude e grude! até terminar todos os seus chocolates!

Step 8

Time to make the lace with the ribbon! and its ready!!!

Hora de fazer o laço com a fita! e está pronto!!

Books an resources for learning Norwegian

It's been long time since I last wrote here!

I would like to share with you books /resources that I have used for learning Norwegian.

Norwegian is among the “Less common taught languages in the world”.. it means that there's not so many books are available to study it.

I start to study Norwegian by myself when I was living in Japan. At that time I bought some Norwegian books with Japanese explanation ..> < It was the only books that I could find!

After that I found at Amazon, the book called “Teach yourself Norwegian”. I have to say that this book really boost my Norwegian learning. It's a really good self studying book, with Cd's and really well explainde grammar. Good thing about this book is because you get to know a lot of Norwegian culture! It really helped me when visit Oslo for the first time!

In the Norwegian course we used

Paa Vei – level A1/A2 http://pavei.cappelendamm.no/

Stein paa Stein – level B1/B2 http://steinpastein.cappelendamm.no/

I haven't studied it yet but there's also Her paa berget - level C1/C2, http://herpaberget.cappelendamm.no/ this one for the advanced level.

Other thing that really helped me to learn Norwegian is the homepage www.lang-8.com It's a language interchange home page. There you can write journal and other members will correct it for you. Really really helpful! I totaly recommend it for other languages also.

Now start to use www.interpals.com , this one is for finding penpals in the language that you are learning.

Easy written newspaper www.klartale.no (with podcast)

Norwegian TV www.nrk.no (love it)

Reisen til Russland - Del 1

Jeg har alltid drømt om besøke Russland! Endelig ble det oppfylt! 

Jeg dro til St. Petersburg, Petrozavodsk og Valaam.

Petrozavodsk og Valaam er i Karelia området som tilhørte til Finland før.

Derfor står det noen skilt i gaten på finsk også.

Petrozavodsk er en liten og koselig by som ligger 420 kilometer fra St. Petersburg. Det er en god togforbindelse (nattog og dagtog)  mellom 2 byer, og reisen tar mellom 8 til 10 timer. Jeg tok nattoget, og det kostet cirka 600 nok, og prisen inkludert frokost eller middag.

Det var en koselig togreise! Jeg treffe en kvinne i toget, som kom i samme flyet som jeg fra Norge. Det var en stor tilfeldigheter!!! Hun er russisk, og har bodd for 7 år i Norge. Hun forklarte meg om hvordan jeg kunne bestille mat, og hvordan fungerte sengen i toget.

Endelig toget kom til Petrozavodsk, og vennen min ventet for meg i stasjon! Jeg var så glad for å møte ham igjen! Vi hadde så mye å prate! :) Vi dro sammen til universitet, og spiste lunsj i kantina. Det var interessant å besøke et russisk universitet.

Vennen min bodde sammen med vertfamilie sin, så bestilt jeg et rom i vandrerhjemmet.

Jeg prøver å finne den billigste rom som mulig, fordi jeg foretrekker å bruke penger om turen og god mat! Heldigvis funnet jeg det!!! 3 natter for bare 180 nok!! Jeg vil si at det var en veldig fint overraskelse! Vandrerhjemmet var nytt, ren, og resepsjonist var veldig hyggelig og kunne snakke engelsk! 

Onega innsjøen

På andre dag besøkte jeg Kizji, som er en liten øy som ligger i Onega innsjø. Denne innsjøen er den nest største i Europe. :)

På øyer ligger en grupper av kirker, kapeller og hus bygde av tre. I dag Kizji er i åpne-air museet.

Valaam Kloster i tredje dag!

 

Det var en lang vei til Valaam! Vi kjørt i nesten 5 timer (en vei) i en liten bil.. :/ den dagen følte jeg meg syk, og reisen var veldig tøft for meg.

Etter hadde kjørt for 5 timer, tok vi en båt til kloster! Endelig vi kommet!

Det var veldig så skuffende fordi hoved bygning i kloster var under oppussing, og vi kunne se det. 

 

Siste dag i Petrozavodsk!

Vertmoren til vennem min, som heter Tatiana, inviterte meg for middag! :)

Hun var så søt, og jeg følte meg hjemme! Det var synd fordi jeg kunne ikke russisk, og hun kunne ikke engelsk. Men dattera hennes bodde i Danmark i ett år, så vi kunne snakke litt og forstå hverandre! :)

Etter middag, dro vi til stasjon og tok toget til St. Pertersburg!

Norwegian proficiency test

Yes! there's a Norwegian Proficiency test called norskprøve.
This test is divided in 3 sections: listening, reading and writing.  We have to get 70% to be approved.
 I took level 3 in the end of January and yesterday finally got the result!

I have been approved!! YES!! I am so happy!

I bought my first Norwegian book in 2009 and started to study by myself. Last July I moved to Norway to study it a bit more seriously! :)
It has been an amazing experience and the more I live here the more I love this country!

Sunny Bergen!! (until when??)

Well, maybe you guys dont know.. but Bergen is one of the rainiest cities in Europe! Annual preciptation is around 2550 mm! ! Sometimes it rains all day... and when its dark and rainy it may be really depressive..

 It rains a lot in Belem (round 2880 mm/year), my hometown in Brasil, and I have promised to myself to not live in a city that rains more than there!
But I have never thought about how it rains here in Bergen... it drizzles the whole day.. :( in my hometwon it rains all in once! strong rain then its sunny again!
Happily its not been raining the last few days and so it will be next week!
So today went to take some pictures!!!

Last summer went to this amazing place and climbed for the first time! I thought that I'd never get to do it, but I did!

Cross Country Ski - a Norwegian Experience

Today I'd tried cross country ski for the first time in my life! :) and I <3 it!

Fell down  many times.. but I guess its normal for a first time!
Main problem is going down hills (even the small ones), I lost my balance so easily and fell down many times.
After some hours (around 3 or 4), I finally could manage to go down some hills! so proud of myself! ahuhauhauha

Really tired after 4 hours skiing!

It was Christmas eve and forecast was terrible! There was a storm aproaching to the Norwegian coast!:(
And on the top of it, my friend that would come to spend Christmas eve with couldn't take holidays (typical of Japan), so she'd come only on 29th...
So went to Bunnpris to buy all the stuffs that I'd need, cause supermarkets are closed during holidays.

Bought a lot of stuffs and the old the man in the cashier asked me:

-Hvor mange poser vil du ha? ( How many bags you like a bag?)

I suposed to say "en pose, takk" (one bag, thanks)
But instead I said "one pose"
The old man (way taller than me), put his face just in front mine, and said:
-EN POSE...
Like a Norwegian teacher.. hauhauhauha
Funny thing that I repeated after him! hauahu "en pose, takk"

Dream about Paradise!!

I dreamed about this place last night! Feeling the wind :)
Its been almost one year since I have been there.. time flies!
This morning I felt that I will travel to Vietnan again! Our dreams always come true! fingers crossed! x(^ ^)x

Wow!! Its been almost one year since I last wrote here..

In this mean time I already moved twice! once back to Brasil and now I am in Norway!! :)

Yes, you read it right! I am here! proving that everything is possible!!!
